LD oil separator working principle:
This machine makes use of different densities of the liquid-liquid, liquid-solid & turbid liquid in the high-speed rotation of the drum. The materials that have dissimilar densities get separated under the effect of centrifugal force into a circular-annular shape. The maximum density of the solid particles facilitates outward movement. Those solid particles are then accumulated in the drum. The circumferential wall of the light phase liquid develops in the innermost layer. Drum, disc, drum space is divided into a number of thin-layer separation space, thus greatly reducing sedimentation distance and improving the separation effect. Any particles that reach the disc or the inner surface at the limit between the two discs can be separated out. Finally, oil discharged out through the light-centripetal-pump and water is discharged out by the heavy-centripetal-pump.
